The Singapore Toy, Game Comic Convention is picking up speed ahead of this year’s exhibition! The organizers of the event recently announced some of the pop culture personalities who will be attending the 2012 con.
Comic fans will be pleased to know that Marvel Comics illustrator Mark Brooks, TMNT illustrator Mark Torres and kaiju illustrator and toy designer, Mark Nagata, will be gracing the event.
For the Japanophiles, chibi art illustrator CHANXCO, DJ Zanio from vocaloid group ZANEEDS, DJ haLRu from MonOMIND and Chief Editor of cos magazine cosplaymode Tadaaki ‘Jacky’ Dosai will be flying down as well. On TOP of that, well-known Japanese cosers Touya Hibiki and Kousaka Yun are also going to be at STGCC! Oh, and the two DJs are going to battle it out in an ultimate Touhou vs Vocaloid showdown.
There are also going to be more STGCC collectibles, thanks to the presence of cult toy designers Tristan Eaton and The Beast Brothers, and Tokidoki creator Simon Legno.
And this is just the first announcement from STGCC. Tickets are on sale now, so get them early before the hype catches up and they start selling out! This years STGCC will be held at the Marina Bay Sands.
